  5. Work the cleanser over the cheek paying particular attention to around the mouth and nose in a circular motion.
  6. Once pads are dirty dispose of them immediately and continue to reapply cleanser to new pads.
  7. Taking a small amount of cleanser gentle wipe over the eyes to remove any mascara or eyeshadow.
  8. Work cleanser into the brows to remove any pencil/brow filler.
  9. Wipe over lips.
  10. Repeat process of cleansing over the face from steps 1-3 to remove any final dirt.
  11. Taking a small amount of cleanser on a cotton bud, run the bud underneath the eye to remove any final eye makeup caught within that lashes.
  12. Taking a fresh cotton pad, apply a fifty pence sized portion of toner (like step 2) and work upwards from the neck over the face in stroking motions.
  13. Again pay particular attention to around the nose, mouth, jawline and under the eyes.
  14. Once the face is cleansed and toned, using clean hands, take a small pump of moisturiser and work through fingers and palm.
  15. Working up the face apply the moisturiser in an upwards stroking fashion.
  16. Once moisturiser is absorbed remove gown and clips.
  17. Rewash hands.
Evaluation
The process of cleansing the skins was actually more challenging that it appeared from the demonstration. Not only were you having to work upside down and rely on your judgement of position using the mirror in front of you but also, once you thought you had completely cleansed the skin there was always more makeup hidden somewhere under the eyes or beside the jaw. Eventually however the skin was cleaned thoroughly and with additional practise, the process of cleansing the skin will become easier and quicker.
